Rear Hub Motors:
Let’s start with the motor first. The Jetson Haze has a 350W-rated rear hub motor which is enough for an ebike of this size. In comparison, the Lectric XP Lite has a slightly less powerful motor with a 300W motor.
However, the top speed of Jetson Haze is just 15.5mph even with this 350W motor. So, the Lectric XP Lite has a clear advantage here since it can go up to 20 mph.
Batteries and Maximum Ranges:
Both Jetson Haze and Lectric XP Lite have a removable battery but the XP Lite offers a slightly bigger 374Wh battery. The Jetson Haze has a relatively smaller 360Wh battery. Although there is very little difference in the battery capacity of these two electric bikes, the difference in maximum range is surprising.
While the maximum range on Jetson Haze is limited to just 20 miles, the Lectric XP Lite offers a decent range of 40 miles. This range comparison is for the pedal-assist mode. In pure-electric mode, you are going to get 15 miles of maximum range on both of these affordable electric bikes.
You may be wondering why the Lectric XP Lite offers an extra 20 miles on the pedal-assist mode when it has a similar battery capacity. Well, you can relate this range advantage to the Lectric XP Lite having relatively bigger tires and pedaling is easier on this ebike. So, the motor has to chip in relatively less torque when riding in the pedal-assist mode on Lectric XP Lite.
Sensors, Charging, Lights:
The rest of the electrical components are pretty similar in these two electric bikes as both feature a cadence sensor. Lectric XP Lite has a 48V 2A charger whereas the Jetson Haze features a 1.5A charger. But charging time is not much different as you can get a full recharge within 6 hours on both ebikes.
As for lights, both Jetson Haze and Lectric XP Lite have integrated front and rear lights. We can argue that the quality of these lights is not great, but having these essential components included at the same price is a big deal.
If you enjoy riding in low-light conditions, we do recommend that you a good-quality headlight to ensure your safety on the road.
Let’s move on to the design comparison of these ebikes and find out if there are any significant differences.

The Lectric XP Lite is 2 lbs lighter than the Jetson Haze. The difference is minute but we have to give credit to Lectric here for keeping the XP Lite really lightweight since it is bigger in size than the Jetson Haze.
